Various mixing principles are applied in RF circuits depending partly on the wavelenghts, partly on the optimization goals.

On frequencies beyond 30 GHz, which belong to the mm wavelength range, basically two types of passive mixers are used. This presentaion explains the technical details and interesting properties of these circuits.
