Illés Balázs

Professor at the Budapest University of Technology and Economics

Prof. Balázs Illés is a full professor at the Budapest University of Technology and Economics (Hungary), where he is the head of the Department of Electronics Technology. He is also working for Łukasiewicz Research Network - Institute of Microelectronics and Photonics (Poland) as an area leader. He received the M.Sc. degree in 2005, the Ph.D. degree in 2009 and the dr. habil. degree in 2015 in electrical engineering from Budapest University of Technology and Economics. His main research topics are numerical simulation and measurement of heat and mass transport during manufacturing processes, solder alloy metallurgy, and quality and reliability of solder joints. He is the author of 181 scientific publications, including 2 books, 88 journal papers, and 91 conference papers.
