András Sik PhD

Chief Geodata Officer, 4iG Space and Defense Technologies

Graduated in 2003 as geographer at the Eötvös Loránd University, and received his PhD degree in 2011 for the periglacial surface landform analysis of Mars. Since 2015 he is the Vice President of the Hungarian Astronautical Society and has gained professional experience in several international and domestic projects, focusing on satellite remote sensing and geospatial data management. In 2024, he joined 4iG Space and Defence Technologies Plc. as Chief Geodata Officer, and his responsibilities include the implementation of the company's Satellite Data Center, moreover the coordination of service development based on VHR satellite imagery.
