RF Validation Engineering Manager, Silicon Labs

I am György Szegedi, and I have been working in the technical field since 2010. I have been leading the RF validation engineering team at Silicon Labs in Budapest since 2020. During this time, the team has grown from 7 to 13 members and continues to expand in 2025. The team focuses on testing the radio front-end of newly developed SoC (System on Chip) products. Our main tasks are radio frequency measurement technology and measurement automation. Before testing RF hardware, I was involved in selling and executing projects for modern workplace safety and smart energy solutions in intralogistics. My first job was at BHE Bonn Hungary Kft., where I tested radio frequency devices and later supported sales and development projects. I earned my MSc degree in electrical engineer qualification from the Óbuda University, Kandó Kálmán Faculty of Electrical Engineering in 2015.
