Tibor Herman is a satellite systems engineer specializing in PocketQube spacecraft platforms with flight heritage. He is a core member of the SMOG satellite program at the Budapest University of Technology and Economics (BME), and has participated in five PocketQube missions, of which HUNITY is currently in orbit.
His work spans end-to-end spacecraft development, from system architecture and subsystem integration to environmental testing and in-orbit validation. Prior to his doctoral research at BME in cooperation with BHE, he worked as an engineer at Silicon Labs and Bosch in Budapest, gaining industrial experience.
He is a co-founder of Labi Space, a university spin-off delivering reliable, flight-validated PocketQube platform solutions for industrial and institutional customers.
