Attila Geczy Phd

Habilitated Associate Professor, Budapest University of Technology and Economics

Attila Géczy is a habilitated associate professor, he received his PhD degree in 2014 at the Faculty of Electrical Engineering, Department of Electronic Technology. He habilitated at BME in 2022 and is the head of the Sustainable Electronics Research Group at BME-VIK.

Currently, he is the university project leader and work package leader of a Horizon Europe EIC Pathfinder project (DESIRE4EU) on sustainable materials in microelectronics. His further research is related to electronics assembly technology and applied sensors.

He is the President of IMAPS Hungary and a member of the IMAPS European Liaison Council (ELC). He is a member of the IEEE, where he is currently involved in the organisation of a Budapest conference.
