Attila Geczy Phd

Habilitated Associate Professor, Budapest University of Technology and Economics

He graduated as an electrical engineer in 2009, obtained his PhD in 2014 and habilitated in 2022. As Associate Professor at the Department of Electronics Technology at BME VIK, his main research interests include reflow soldering in electronics assembly technology, the development of biodegradable substrates for sustainable electronics and applied sensor technologies. He is an elected member of the MTA MTO Committee on Electronic Devices and Technologies. Member of the organising committee of the Several IEEE conferences. Member of the IMAPS ELC and President of the Hungarian Chapter of IMAPS. In his industrial research experience he has worked with Robert Bosch Elektronika Kft, Exmore and Albacomp, among others. He is a faculty advisor to the BME Sustainability Chapter. He is actively involved in research with several universities abroad on sustainable electronics and microelectronics skills development.
