Application and Training Manager (ELAS Ltd.)

Bela Bodi graduated as a Mechanical and Automotive Engineer (BA) at Széchenyi István College in Győr in 1995. In addition to these, he received another degree in Mechanical Engineering (MA) in 2000 and a further degree in Quality & Production Management (BA) at the Budapest University of Technology and Economics in 2006. He is currently a PhD candidate at the Doctoral School on Material Sciences and Technologies of Óbuda University. Initially in 1999, Bela worked as a Process Engineer at Delphi Hungary Kft. before moving on to work as a service engineer with his current company, Elas Kft. Bela is now an Application and Training Manager at Elas Kft., a position he took up in 2010. He is also a fully qualified IPC Master Trainer and an instructor at Selective Soldering Academy USA (in Hungary). He is one of the co-authors of the book: ”Soldering and Alternative Bindings in the Electronics Industry” published in 2021. He is the writer of “Hand Soldering in Practice” handbook and the soft soldering chapter of “Welding Technical Book” which were published in 2023.
